Answer:

The number of bags which Arminda sell to gain profit of $ 2200 is 150

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The total cost of production of bag group = $ 1100

The additional material cost per bag = $ 18 × number of bags

The selling price of each bag = $40

The profit that should be earn after selling = $ 2200

Now, Let The number of bags to be sell = x

So, The cost price of the bags = $ 1100 + $ 18 × x

And The selling price of bag = $ 40 × x

∵, Profit earn = Selling price - Cost price

Or, $ 2200 = $ 40 × x - (  $ 1100 + $ 18 × x )

Or, $ 2200 = $ 40 x - $ 1100 - $ 18 x

or, $ 2200 + $ 1100 = $ 22 x

Or, $ 3300 = $ 22 x

∴  x = \frac{3300}{22}

I.e x = 150

So, The number of bags to be sell = x = 150

Hence The number of bags which Arminda sell to gain profit of $ 2200 is 150  Answer

Robin, who is self-employed, contributes $4500/year into a Keogh account. How much will he have in the account after 30 years if
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

The amount that would be in the account after 30 years is $368,353

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to calculate the amount that will be present in the account after 30 years if the interest is compounded yearly

We proceed to use the formula below;

A = [P(1 + r)^t-1]/r

From the question;

P is the amount deposited yearly which is $4,500

r is the interest rate = 2.5% = 2.5/100 = 0.025

t is the number of years which is 30

Substituting these values into the equation, we have;

A = [4500(1 + 0.025)^30-1]/0.025

A = [4500(1.025)^29]/0.025

A = 368,353.3309607034

To the nearest whole dollars, this is;

$368,353
