the united states knew about the holocaust while it was happening in Europe. What did it do to stop it? why did it continue to o
Harman [31]
The United States allowed immigration to help the victims avoid the Holocaust although not in the larger numbers that could have been more helpful. The United States entered the war in 1941 and also attacked Germany in retaliation. The Holocaust continued because the Nazis had a very well organized system of apprehension of people that were put in the camps.

Serggg [28]

Answer:

D. Competition leads to efficiency.

Explanation:

Mercantilism was a set of practices that aimed to strengthen the wealth of European states, by establishing a strong trade and expanding the economy resulting in the promotion of the enrichment of the bourgeoisie that could pay more taxes.

During this period of time, sea expeditions were heavily influenced to find new markets for local trade, the sense of economic competition between countries also began, which promoted a better quality of products to be stipulated. In this way, it was believed that competition was driving the efficiency of production processes.

what problems caused the government to create the interstate commerce comission and the sherman antitrust act? what were the lon
Slav-nsk [51]
I don't know too much about the commerce commission but the sherman antitrust act was created due to bad trusts abusing their powers of having national power over a certain product and therefore holding a monopoly and a sort of dictatorship in a certain field. The sherman antitrust act was the first time the government officially intervened with private businesses and laborers. Pretty much the trusts overworked workers and skyrocketed prices and people complained. I'm blanking on the word for when "the government doesn't interfere with private businesses" but the government finally interfered with this act.
