It is a disciplined way of thinking that asks questions and finds answers to the questions asked. The question that needs to be asked is "Does the new information add value to my knowledge or does it detract from my current knowledge?". Critical thinking allows you to formulate a structured argument helps you to communicate your ideas clearing and succinctly.
