Synagogue refers to:

The place where physically, practicants of Jewish religion get together to render worship, study, the term Synagogue comes from the latin Sinagoga, and from the Greek synagogue, that means to come together. In the Hebrew is written as Bet haKenéset בית הכנסת

Sabbath is considered in Jewish religion :

The day of rest, for Jewish practicants, is important to rest after the 6 days that are believed to be the time God took when creating everything around us, according to the Genesis, the first book inspired by Moses. It is mandatory to Jewish belief to rest on Saturday.

Kosher then is:

the etiquette especially referring to meals, where the Jewish prescriptions are referred, according to ancient rituals and that is safe to be eaten by believers of Jewish tradition.

Jews pray in a synagogue, like Church for Christians- Sabbath is a day of religious observance for Jews, and Kosher is the foods and drinks they consider religiously permitted, like Halal for Muslims.

“The Vedas are the earliest and very influential religious texts of classical India. The Rig Veda is the earliest of the four collections of the songs and other holy texts known as Vedas. These works are regarded as "divine knowledge" of the Aryans who attacked India in about 1600 B.c

Historians considered Vedas as an essential source of information because they assisted in studying the classical civilizations of India and the nature of the administrations and also helped in understanding administration.

Vedas cannot be considered authentic according to me because the actual origin of the Vedas is hidden. Many testimonies imply that they were reproduced by Brahmin priests between 1500 and 1200 B.C, though the ethnic religion of Brahmin priests and the thoughts they wrote continued to be the mystery.”

For which two reasons did Lowe favor "captive" balloons
likoan [24]

Thaddeus Lowe's operations in his ground service's first months indicate considerable improvement in developing and understanding the observation balloon a significant and useful complement to the army service. He favored the captive balloons because:

  • He showed that a captive balloon could be efficiently and safely propelled to and from different locations, and that the senior officers could take measurements from virtually any appropriate point chosen.
  • The civil war time duration 1861 to 1863, encouraged him to experiment and make success of captive balloons, here his motivation raised as he was self made scientist and aeronaut.
  • He was attempting to study medicine to satisfy the wishes of his grandmother, but the boredom diverted him to his first passion, aviation using lighter-than-air gases.
