Answer: to carry out aerial attacks on London, England.

The V-2 was the world's first long-range guided ballistic missile. It was developed by Germany during WWII, and its main mission was to attack Allied cities as retaliation for the bombings of German cities. From September 1944 on, the V-2 was used against London, and then Antwerp. An estimated 2,754 civilians were killed in London by V-2 attacks, while another 6,523 were injured.

What were the consequences of the dawes act
san4es73 [151]
The cause of the Dawes Act was the complete takeover of most of the land of the Native American Indians. Because of this, land belonged to entire tribes, but not individuals. The Dawes Act was created in 1887 to allow surveys of tribal lands and then division of it so that allotments could be given to individual Native American Indians. The Dawes Act was amended twice, both in 1891 and again in 1906. The effect of the Dawes Act was a complete breakdown of the Native American tribes and their traditional way of life. Only the richer clans or families were given land allotments of crop lands. This led to homelessness of many Native American Indians.

Why did American Indians who lived in dry areas make knives from flint rather than slate?
slamgirl [31]
Slate is much more commonly found in wet areas, especially around rivers in the United States, so it wouldn't be very available to Natives who were more inland.
