Yes. The colonists disagreed to comply with the British law in which they were a part of. Despite this, I do not think this civil disobedience was a bad thing due to the fact that their ruler lived hundreds of miles away and communication was slim. He would not have been able to make educated and reasonable decisions for the colonists.

masya89 [10]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although it is hard to understand what the question is asking by the way it is stated, we can say that President Franklin D. Roosevelt was very aware of the problems and hardships of rural America that lacked electricity. That is why, as part of his "New Deal," he established the Rural Electrification Authority to solve this problem. This helped farmers to get loans and created electric cooperatives. These loans were low cost and created many jobs too. The Rural Electrification Act was passed on May 20, 1936.

What are the reasons that add up to incumbency advantage?
mars1129 [50]

Answer: For most political offices, the incumbent often has more name recognition due to their previous work in the office. Incumbents also have easier access to campaign finance, as well as government resources (such as the franking privilege) that can be indirectly used to boost the incumbent's re-election campaign.
