The Eisenhower Doctrine arose because of the interest of the Soviet Union in attacking countries in the Middle East (Egypt), so President Dwight D. Eisenhower made a petition before the United States Congress, to help Egypt or any country of the Middle East that suffered a threat, putting the disposition of the armed forces of the United States.
