serious [3.7K]

Answer:

United States entered the war.

Explanation:

'Woodrow Wilson' was the 28th president of the United States. He did want Americans do get involved in the war. He did not want the Congress to pass any bill that would let the country get into the war. He opposed war completely.

But, Germans boats attacked U.S ships in the Atlantic ocean and killed many U.S citizens. Then, the Americans pushed the President to take quick action in response to this German attack in the Atlantic ocean.

Thus, President Wilson thought to change his plans, and addressed the Congress to vote for the 'declaration of War' against the 'Germans'. United States entered the war as the President was under public pressure to do so.

how many presidents have been removed from office after conviction by the senate
NikAS [45]
The answer is none, although there are two presidents who were impeached but not convicted. The first was Andrew Johnson, who was impeached because of violation of the tenure in office based on high crimes and misdemeanors and the second was Bill Clinton for obstruction of justice and perjury.
