What did the 18th amendment to the U.S. Constitution accomplish
Artemon [7]

The 18th amendment outlawed the selling and making liquor in the United States in the 1920's. Overall, it didn't really accomplish anything because even though it wasn't legal, people were drinking more than ever and crime increased majorly in cities.
