n experiment where a person will run for a 1 minute and I will check their heartbeat. Then they will run for 2 minutes and I will check their heart rate. I will do this up to 6 minutes and see if there is a connection. What do you think my hypothesis should be? What are my variables? Hypothesis: Independent variable: Dependent Variable:

(07.05 MC) If there is a mutation in a zygote, where is it likely to be found in the fetus? (2 points)
just olya [345]

Answer:

The mutation will occur in all the cells of the fetus since they all formed by mitosis from the zygote.

Explanation:

If there is a mutation in a zygote, the mutation will occur in all the cells of the fetus since they all formed by mitosis from the zygote.

A zygote consist of a diploid cell formed from the fusion of male and female haploid cells during fertilization.

A zygote develops into a fetus through continuous mitotic division and differentiation.

Hence, if a mutation occur in a zygote, all the cells of the fetus formed from such zygote will have the mutation because the cells are formed from the mitotic division of the zygote.
