Answer:

Carrying capacity is defined a the ability of the natural ecosystem to take care of the environment which does not necessarily cause the resistance in population increase.

Explanation:

  • The earth indeed has a mechanism of delivering changes to the system and keeping it intact but as the case of the rapid growth of population arises the mother nature sees this as an exponent of unsustainable growth as the resource used to sustain large populations is no longer available or are exhausted.
  • A population increase so does the carrying capacity and workload of the natural environment which at the time gets slow due either due to the man's artificial technology or the natural process like hurricane or earthquake itself.
  • But seeing the nature as providing possibilities for the existence of the societies throughout ages and hence trying to maintain its originality may break those activities that it considers resistance as several biotic factors like predators, disease, competition, and lack of food.

all plants give out oxygen during day and carbon dioxide during night. Do you agree with this statement. Give reason
Citrus2011 [14]

This statement is incomplete.

"All plants give out oxygen during day and carbon dioxide during night"

Explanation :

Photosynthesis occurs only during day time.

During this time oxygen is produced . Some oxygen is used for respiration and rest of oxygen is diffused out into air.

Carbon dioxide produced during day time by respiration is used in photosynthesis.

But at night time, no photosynthesis occurs  and hence no oxygen is produced oxygen from air diffuses into leaves to carry out respiration and carbon dioxide produced by respiration diffuses out into air.

Hence Respiration occurs day and night .. Hence Carbon dioxide  is emitted  all the time....

In organisms with large genomes, inversions are more likely to be tolerated if the breakpoints occur in: reciprocal translocatio
andre [41]

Answer:

Non-coding DNA.

Explanation:

Inversion is a type of chromosomal abnormality in which the sequence of a segment of a chromosome is inverted or rotated at an angle of 180 degrees.  This type of abnormality can change the reading frame of the gene and can cause mutations.

But if the genome sequence is non-coding that is not involved in the formation of protein synthesis than even if the reading frame is inverted will not affect the phenotype of the cell. Also, the non-coding sequences are removed by the splicing mechanisms.

Thus, Non-coding DNA is correct.

A student designs an experiment to test substances X, Y, and Z, to determine which one is a catalyst for the reaction: A + B ® C
guapka [62]
The effect of a catalyst is to increase the speed of the reaction, this is the speed at which reactants, A and B, are consumed, ant the product, C, is produced.

Given that when C is produced the solution bubbles, the bubbles are an indication of progression of the reaction.

The greater the speed of reaction, the earlier the reaction will end and the earlier the bubbles will stop.

So the student can identify the catalyst because the bubbles will stop first.

Answer: <span>The test tube that stops bubbling first contains the catalyst.</span>
