Answer:a). The first has fewer amino acids than the second.

Explanation: The amino acid sequence of the protein created from the first mRNA sequence is Methionine-isoleucine-valine while the amino acid sequence of the protein created from the second mRNA sequence is Methionine-isoleucine-valine-tyrosine.

From the information provided, AUG codes for methionine, AUA codes for isoleucine, GUG codes for valine UAG codes for 'stop', and UAC codes for tyrosine. Therefore, the first protein has fewer amino acids than the second protein.

Which cranial nerve transmits information about audition? which cranial nerve transmits information about audition? vestibulococ
ser-zykov [4K]

Answer;

-Vestibulocochlear

The cranial nerve transmits information about audition vestibulocochlear.

Explanation;

-The vestibular branch of the vestibulocochlear nerve transmits afferent impulses for the sense of equilibrium. The cochlear branch transmits afferent impulses for the sense of hearing.

-The vestibulocochlear nerve is responsible for both hearing and balance and brings information from the inner ear to the brain. This nerve determines the human sense of equilibrium.

How does cell size and shape influence the diffusion of molecules into and out of the cell?
d1i1m1o1n [39]
A large surface area plays a major factor for diffusion and also osmosis at some point. The larger the surface area, the more molecules are able to diffuse in and out of the cells. Think of it this way. You have 2 containers. One container have a length of 5cm by 5cm. Another container you have a 10cm by 5 cm. You have a bucket of water. Por the water into the container, it would be more easier to pour it into the 10 by 5 without spilling right. Thats because it has a larger surface area compared to the other container. Hence, the size and shape affects the influence of diffusion.
