<span>a) unauthorized duplication of software

If one 'pirates' another person's software, they are not giving the person who produced the software their royalty, which means that they are, in effect, misusing the person's rights.

Write a program that asks the user for three names, then prints the names in reverse order.
sasho [114]

Answer:

The program written in C++ is as follows'

#include<iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()

{

string names[3];

cout<<"Please enter three names: "<<endl;

for (int i = 0; i< 3;i++)

{

cin>>names[i];

}

for (int i = 2; i>= 0;i--)

{

cout<<names[i]<<endl;

}

return 0;

}

Explanation:

This line declares an array for 3 elements

string names[3];

This line prompts user for three names

cout<<"Please enter three names: "<<endl;

This following iteration lets user input the three names

for (int i = 0; i< 3;i++)  {  cin>>names[i];  }

The following iteration prints the three names in reverse order

for (int i = 2; i>= 0;i--)  {  cout<<names[i]<<endl;  }

X = 1 if (A = 1 OR B = 1) OR (A = 0 AND B = 1
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

For question a, it simplifies.  If you re-express it in boolean algebra, you get:

(a + b) + (!a + b)

= a + !a + b

= b

So you can simplify that circuit to just:

x = 1 if b = 1

(edit: or rather, x = b)

For question b, let's try it:

(!a!b)(!b + c)

= !a!b + !a!bc

= !a!b(1 + c)

= !a!b

So that one can be simplified to

a = 0 and b = 0

I have no good means of drawing them here, but hopefully the simplification helped!
