They have the highest sensitivity (the lowest response threshold) when they receive vibrations of less than 50 Hz, which is what the specifics do. They are rapidly active receptors.
Pacinian corpuscles are mechanoreceptors with very fast adaptation rate that have small receptive fields that respond to deep pressured vibrations. They are found deep in the hairless skin of mammals. They are one of the many receptors in the human body and they are fast adapting because they react to pressure on the skin of mammals.
