Answer:

$743

Explanation:

The accounting equation shows the relationship between the elements of a balance sheet which are assets liabilities and equity. This may be expressed mathematically as

Assets = Liabilities + Equity

While assets include fixed assets, cash, inventories, account receivables etc, liabilities include accounts payable, loans payable, accrued expenses etc.

Equity which represents the amount owed to the owners of the business includes retained earnings (which is the accumulation of the net income/loss over the years less dividends paid) and common shares.

Given ;

2017 net income = $993

Difference in retained earning between 2016 and 2017

= $710 - $460

= $250

This change is as a result of the dividend paid and the net income for 2017 hence,

$250 = $993 - Dividend paid

Dividend paid = $993 - $250

= $743

Salespeople need to possess effective trust-based sales communications skills so that they:
Olegator [25]
Hey there!

For salespeople, its all about relationships and conversations and relationships with people. If you're good friends with someone from your consuming company, you can expect to make good sales as they are acquaintances and would want to buy things from people who they can trust.

Therefore, if you can develop friendships and trust with people from the company who would buy from you, they might just accidentally or purposely let you in on secrets from their company that would maximize sales- and that's always the goal of a salesperson.

Hope this helps!

Zinaida [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

a. The computation of the ending inventory is shown below:

Inventory Quantity Cost  NRV   LCM     Total inventory

 (1)                                                  (2)          (1 × 2)

Unit A         14         $38   $40    $38         $532

 Unit B         22       $42   $39    $39        $858

 Unit C         16        $27   $31     $27        $432

 Unit D         19        $18    $17      $17         $323

Total                                                            $2,145

And total cost = Unit A × cost + Unit A × cost + Unit A × cost  + Unit A × cost

= 14 × $38 + 22 × $42 + 16 × $27 + 19 × $18

= $532 + $924 + $432 + $342

= $2,230

b. The journal entry is shown below:

Income summary A/c Dr $85 ($2,230 - $2,145)

  To Inventory A/c $85
