Documentary photograph aims to tell a story about a particular event or place. Many famous documentary photographs are on subjec
ts like poverty, war, violence, and other negative parts of society. Can documentary photography focus on the positive as well as the negative? Will it have the same power or emotion? Why or why not?
This is just my opinion here but: Yes documentary photography can be used in a positive way, it will show the ones that overcome difficult situations or defeating the struggles that one had. It will have a different type of emotion but the emotion it shows will relate to the type of photograph.
A comics even though these are old but there is some that are still being made today it gives you a visual and reading about what who where and why is happening.
