"Form" relates to physical "form." "Fact" relates to the person themselves. Most likely (And this is without any other context. If this is not the right question, I'd recommend including the paragraph.) this piece means that Douglass may be a slave to someone, but he has freedoms and rights.

Do think Arachne right when she states that she is solely responsible for her success as a weaverelse might have contributed Ara
tia_tia [17]

Answer:

Arachne was wrong when she said no one helped her in her success. Because her father contributed to it.

Explanation:

There are two reasons for this answer. The first one is that Arachne learns to knit from her father if her father wouldn't have been successful knitters. She wouldn't have learned to be a good knitter. Therefore, when she claims that no one has helped her reach that amount of success and that mastery of her skill. She is wrong.

In literature, what is a symbol? an object that does not actually represent what it is supposed to be something that functions i
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

I believe the best answer to be letter b. something that functions in a story the way you expect but also stands for something more than itself.

Explanation:

In literature, a symbol is a device that contains several layers of meaning. There is the literal, obvious meaning at first but, as we pay attention to the deeper levels, we realize other meanings are also present. A common symbol in poems and narratives, for instance, is the bird. The bird, at first, refers to the animal itself. However, as we analyze the context, the story, the conflicts, it is common to find that the bird is a representative of freedom. A caged bird, therefore, is a symbol for oppression, captivity. For those reasons, the best option seems to be letter b. something that functions in a story the way you expect but also stands for something more than itself.

Why is so important for students to learn about diversity?
GalinKa [24]
Diversity for Biology?
If so it is important bc if we don't learn diversity we wouldn't know the diversity of plants animals of anything nor how to calculate it and if we don't know the diversity we don't know the key species to the ecosystem or what amount of a certain thing is causing a problem.
Hope this helps have a nice day

Which of the following lines from "The Blind Side':
tatiyna

The line that supports the claim that environmental protective factors affect a person’s ability to be resilient is: that he grew up in a rough part of Memphis, Tennessee, the son of a crack-addict mother and an absent father. (Paragraph 3)

What are environmental factors?

Environmental factors are elements of society that affects an individual's growth.

When the paragraph mentioned the rough environment that he grew up in, the reader can infer that this will have some psychological effect on him.

He might lack resilience in life because of such factors. So paragraph 3 supports the claim.
