I found this question elsewhere on this site. I will repeat their answer to you, so all of the credit for answering this goes to Pandamille.
"C. Limit your fat and sugar intake and eat more fruit and vegetables."
I think the answer is it prepares your body for necessary action because I learned something like anxiety and how it help you take action last year. I hope this helps you.
Bradycardia is the most ominous sign of impending cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
Bradycardia is a slow heart rate. The hearts of adults at rest usually beat between 60 and 100 times a minute. The heart beats fewer than 60 times a minute.
Bradycardia can be a serious problem if the heart rate is very slow and the heart can't pump enough oxygen-rich blood to the body. If this happens, one may feel dizzy, very tired or weak, and short of breath. Sometimes bradycardia doesn't cause symptoms or complications.
Cardiopulmonary arrest is the cessation of adequate heart function and respiration and results in death without reversal.

Well, it depends on the context and the severity. If they are mad at you when doing it, it could be considered abuse, especially if there are marks on your body from it. If it is jokingly or sarcastic, then no. Clothes hangers and fly swatters don't seem that bad, but of course, I am not you, nor am I in your situation. You won't get much help if you have no proof, so you would have to have maybe some marks or a video or sound recording. Every police officer and social worker has different opinions though, so you could get help from one with no proof and you could not get help from one even if you have proof. I would say, think wisely about what you will do about it and balance the pros and cons before you act on it.
Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please let me know :)
