Answer:

NET INCOME: 341,000

Explanation:

Inventory equation:

beginning inventory + purchase = COGS + ending inventory

base on your information we need to get the net purchases and COGS so:

purchases                  368,000

freight-in                         5,000

return and allowance  -41,000

purchase discount      -15,000

net purchases            307,000

Now we replace in the inventory equation with the know values

255,000 + 307,000 = COGS + 282,000

and we solve for COGS

COGS = 280,000

Now we have to determinate the net sales:

sales                850,000

sales discount   -17,000

return&llowances -107,000

net sales         726,000

Finally we proceed with the net income statment

net sales                  726,000

COGS                         -280,000

Gross Profit                  446,000

operating expenses  -105,000

Net Income                   341,000

Managers are constantly seeking out new tools to meet new challenges. Indicate whether today’s manager’s are more or less aware
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

Customer relationship management system (CRM)

Explanation:

A CRM system is what keeps the customer coming back. Instead of targeting each customer with a default bundle of products that are trending, the customer relationship management system tracks down the customer's habits and preferences, creating a tailor-made approach. Every customer is different in things he/she wants to buy. This way, marketing gets more customized and customer statistics generates better reports (more insight for the long-term).

can purchase a service contract for all of her major appliances for $180 a year. If the appliances are expected to last for 10 y
Ghella [55]

Answer:

$2,264.04

Explanation:

To find future value we use the formula:

Future Value = Annual payment × Future value annuity factor

Therefore,

FV = P * [((1+r)^n - 1) / r]

Where P = Principal amount = $180

r = rate = 5% == 0.05

n = 10 years

= 180 *[((1+0.05)^1^0) / 0.05]

= $180 * 12.578

= $2,264.04

Therefore the Future Value is $2,264.04

This morning you purchased one share of stock for $14. The stock pays $.20 per share each quarter as a dividend. What must the s
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

$14.88

Explanation:

The computation of the stock price is given below:

A total return of 12% means that

= 0.12 × 14

= $1.68 in a year.

Now

The total dividend payments for 4 quarters is

= 0.2 × 4

= $0.8.

Now the price of the stock should increase by

= 1.68 - 0.8

= 0.88

So the stock price one year from now is

= 14 + 0.88

= $14.88
