The Zhou dynasty was very smart about how they farmed. They used grid patterns to use all of the space they needed. In many areas they had extra space for animals to roam and eat. They had an advanced system of irrigation, that let them properly water, and fertilize their crops.

Answer:

The Zhou dynasty was a Chinese dynasty that followed the Shang dynasty and preceded the Qin dynasty. The Zhou dynasty lasted longer than any other dynasty in Chinese history (790 years). The military control of China by the royal house, surnamed Ji, lasted initially from 1046 until 771 BC for a period known as the Western Zhou and the political sphere of influence it created continued well into Eastern Zhou for another 500 years.

seraphim [82]

Answer:

With the death of President Franklin D. Roosevelt on April 12, 1945, Vice President Harry S. Truman assumed the Oval Office. He surely knew he faced a difficult set of challenges in the immediate future: overseeing the final defeats of Germany and Japan; managing the U.S. role in post-war international relations; supervising the American economy's transition from a war-time to a peace-time footing; and maintaining the unity of a fractious and powerful Democratic Party.

When he tried to escape, he was caught with all his family in Varennes, and then executed (January 1793).
