Well, since the last number in 125 is 5, it can't be divided by 2.

125 divided by 3 is 41.6 repeated, which isn't the correct answer.

125 divided by 7 is 17.85714285714286, which isn't a correct answer either.

So.. The answer is C. 5

The answer is C. 5

This is the answer because

125 / 2 = 62.5

125 / 3 = 41.6_

125 / 5 = 25

125 / 7 = 17.86

As you can see 5 is the only number it can be divisible by.

Hope that helps!!

5p + 3 = 15 Write a situation that this equation could help you solve and explain how each part of the equation relates to the s
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Expressions can be represented as equations, and vice versa.

A possible situation is as follows:

John is 15 years old, and his age is 3 more than 5 times his brother's age

The equation is given as:

\mathbf{5p + 3 = 15}

This means that:

 • 15 represents John's age
 • P represents his brother's age
 • 5 and 3 are the constants that relate their ages

Which expression is equivalent to 100 n2 − 1? (10n)2 − (1)2 (10n2)2 − (1)2 (50n)2 − (1)2 (50n2)2 − (1)2

Regroup:
100n^2-1

=10^2n^2-1
=(10n)^2-1^2

So the correct answer is :
(10n)^2-1^2

To attempt to factor a polynomial of four or more terms with no common factor, first rewrite it in groups. Each group may possibly be separately factored, and the resulting expression may possibly lend itself to further factorization if a greatest common factor or special form is created.

I don't know how to do this. Can someone explain how to please?
Natalija [7]

Answer:

f(5) = -2

Step-by-step explanation:

You look on the x-axis for 5 because f(5) means let x = 5. Then go down to the graph (the red zig-zaggy line) At the red line (you're still directly under the 5) look over to the y-axis to find the value. That's your answer. It is -2. The point (5, -2) is on the red graph.

f(5) = -2
