Answer: authoritarian parent

Explanation: Authoritarian parents expect their children to do whatever they say when ever they say it without hesitation. Whatever they say goes. They do not listen to their children because to them children have no voice except to take what the parent gives or says at any given moment .

They are very harsh and they use very harsh punishments to deal with any misconduct or if their children do not do what they say.

It is usually common that these parents also grew up in this way , where there was no love but always fear.

The North realized that if it did not act swiftly, the Southern states might take the precedent of the Scott case as a justification for expanding slavery into new territories and free states alike. The South recognized the threat of the Republican party and knew that the party had gained a considerable amount of support as a result of the Northern paranoia in the aftermath of the decision.
