I took the test and (A) was wrong on mine but I don't know if (B) is really the answer either but I couldn't decide between A and B.

(A) also makes sense but they are the soldiers for the other side. Germans weren't liked back then.

Cold-hearted because they took the fish and were willing to kill them.

Inhuman because they were cruel and barbaric and ready to shoot.
