Explanation: I have found the options that are missing in your question.

a) The narrator associates memories to specific objects that he sees.

b) The narrator realizes the buildings around him should be demolished.

c) The narrator feels as though he wants to connect to the people of the town.

d) The narrator is unsure why he feels frightened while walking with his mother.

In ''Living to Tell the Tale'', we can find a description of the autobiography of Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

It is the Spanish book, published in 2002.

 • The main key of the story is his adventure and trip with his mother because they wanted to sell the home where he grew up and that is why the answer a) is correct, the narrator is talking about memories that he remembered where we can see a dose of sentimentality. Which of the following is the correct plural form of radius? Select all that apply.
PolarNik [594]
The plural form of the word radius is radii.

I know it sounds weird, but this is correct. Adding -s at the end of the radius would make the word grammatically incorrect. This is because the word radius itself is a Latin word.

19. B.) Ignore the problem or make an effort to change the problem.

20. C.) He believes we have a responsibility to reduce global warming.

21. A.) It shows how dangerous global warming can be for society.

Explanation:

The article, 'Rising Tides', is a lamentation of the writer, Bob Herbert of the disastrous effect of global warming and its effects on the future condition of the world. It ends with a call to action from the American government, which it believes has the capacity to curb global warming.

14. Even though, the writer spent much of the article lamenting about the effect of global warming, his main aim was to make America realize that they have a huge role to play in managing the situation.

15. The writer references disappearance of the snow in Kilimanjaro, as well as the shattering of a rock, quoting its dimensions.

16. The quote from The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a writing of scientific experts was used to justify the claim that developing nations will be worst hit from global warming.

17. His last paragraph had a serious tone to either solve the problem or pretend that it does not exist.

18. There was no mention of polar bears dying.

19. Herbert mentioned that we could ignore the problem or pretend that it does not exist.

20. Herbert already believed that we have a responsibility to reduce global warming hence his call to action.

21. Treacherous means deceptive. Situations that are deceptive in nature are dangerous and difficult to tackle.

How to explain the value of social media to people who don't use it- speech

Masteriza [31]

The value of social media explained for people who don't use it:

Social media is a great way to keep in touch with people, learn about them, post about your every day life and entertain yourself, and keep in touch with the people you care about, even while apart.

The Coronavirus has really demonstrated the values of social media, because it allowed people to socialize with people without spreading the Coronavirus putting themselves or others at risk, and keeping everyone somewhat socialized during quarantine.

It is a great way to find out about news, important events, and stay up to date on everything from local news to politics. Some people who may not use social media might miss out on important updates that the news might not touch on, not get the first glimpse into what is going on in politics or media, and it's even faster than some news stations. Word gets around quick on social media, and you'll never miss a thing if you stay up to date.

It can reconnect you with old friends, estranged family you happen to want to get in touch with again, and it can help you meet new people if you are shy and want to talk about your interests, but are too scared to start a conversation face to face. It can actually help some people get over their initial social anxiety in meeting new people.

To sum it up, social media does have value, even if it seems pointless to some people. But, it isn't, to some people. It can really help people socialize, keep in touch, and even keep up to date on news.

Obviously this isn't the best, but it's at least a start. You can add or take out whatever you would like, and put it in your own words. I hope this was helpful :)
