Answer:

radical republicans were affiliated with the republican party but they supported the complete eradication of slavery without compromise

the wade Davis bill was a bill proposing the reconstruction of the south which was written by 2 radical republicans and Benjamin wade

scalawag is a person who behaves badly but in an amusing way

segregation is separating groups of people mostly racial groups which was used after slavery was abolished until segregation was made illegal in the late 1960's

integration is the opposite it is mixing groups together who were previously segregated

the redeemers were a political coalition during the reconstruction era who had pro business views and were also the southern wing of the bourbon democrats

Lincoln's blueprint for Reconstruction included the Ten-Percent Plan, which specified that a southern state could be readmitted into the Union while President Andrew Johnson implemented a plan of Reconstruction that gave the white South a free hand in regulating the transition from slavery to freedom and offered no role to blacks in the politics of the South

reconstruction led to violence between southerners, the KKK was also formed and terrorized African Americans and anyone who was affiliated with the republican party

the republicans gave up fighting for equality and black rights in the south and the US also pulled their troops out of the south which ended the reconstruction era

Benjamin Tillman, South Carolina Senator, opposed northerners and their ideas. Johnson supported and also represented the beliefs of typical white southerners.

African Americans voted republican because Lincoln gave them freedom from slavery In the north, the society is used to African Americans living there as free people but the north still faced much racism and wouldn't elect an African american.

The drawing is somewhat realistic, when it comes to the carpet cloth suitcase. The parts of the picture that seem biased are the man that represents Lincoln.

It helped reunite slaves with their families and promoted literary African Americans.

Instead of working in gangs as they had on antebellum plantations, the freedmen (former slaves) became tenants after the civil war. The planter or landowner assigned each family a small tract of land to farm and provided food, shelter, clothing, and the necessary seeds and farm equipment. This arrangement became known as sharecropping.

Many white southerners were mad and scared of competition with the blacks so they turned to violence and many of them formed social groups like the KKK to terrorize the african americans.

the proposed 15 Amendment, which gave the vote to black men, caused controversy as women's suffrage campaigners such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton refused to endorse the amendment, as it did not give the vote to women.

the final question is what you think you'll have to answer what you think was the success and failure of the construction era.

1.) What facts about the Holocaust does your reader need to have in order to understand the event’s importance to new citizens?
Masja [62]
An enormous question.
The Holocaust, which seems to have been the result of German Chancellor's "final solution" to the "Jewish Problem". Kill them all, by the cheapest means possible. And, to do that, the chancellor had to "get his supporters to buy his message". That was done by nationwide indoctrination, anything from banning "Jew physics" (a blunder of a ban, because Jews, Professors Einstein and Lisa Meitner to name but two associated with the Nobel prize in physics, played important roles in developing nuclear weapons), through to indoctination of the dreaded "Hitler youth", via "krystalnacht" and the mass transportation of as many Jews as could be tranported to death camps "hidden" in eastern europe near the USSR border.
And this is only part of the start to the answer.
It may well be impossible to do this subject justice anywhere ...
