These two common procedures in the gastric intestinal tract have its pros/cons.

<span>It is true that gastric bypass and the lap-band are among the innovations in surgery procedures nowadays however there are dangers in these procedures. Among the dangers of the gastric bypass are the blood clotting, bleeding, and disturbances in the bowel movement. Usually a person who undergoes gastric bypass is prone to diarrhea, constipation. On the other hand, among the dangers in the lap-band procedures are gallstones, indigestion, nausea and vomiting and even intolerance to certain types of foods. It also includes pneumonia and dilation of the pouch.<span>
