The best answer here would be;

I think it would be C.

Because it does say that we were outnumbered by the British army and we had small numbers of men in our "army".

Why did OPEC place an embargo on the United States?
Bess [88]
D. To protest U.S. support of Israel
Israel was created after WWll as a homeland for displaced Jews. European officials literally told Palestine that they no longer owned that land anymore because it was set aside for the Jews. Almost all of the Middle Eastern countries did not recognize Israel as a true nation because: 1. The majority of those countries practiced Islam and 2. They supported Palestine. The United States on the other hand supported Israel and with the U.S. giving an increasing amount of aid to the country in the 1970's, OPEC, or the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, cut of trade to the U.S. and put an embargo on oil which significantly raised the price of gas in America and added top the economic downturn that was already occurring.

! Describe four of the changes occurring in the U.S. cities between 1850 and 1900 ! Explain why these changes were happening ! D
Rainbow [258]

Four changes that were ocurring in the U.S cities between 1850 and 1900 were:

1. There was a lot of migration to big cities. Cities grew enormously because of migration. For example, after the Civil War, Afro Americans migrated to northern cities trying to avoid extreme racism in the south.

2. Development of railroads and trains, there were new railroad lines. There was a development of steel mining, steel was used to construct the new railroads.

3. Architecture changed because most new structures were made out of steel. The city's landscape changed considerably, many new buildings were built.

4. Development of industry, particularly steel. Cities started being populated by industrial workers.

1. Why would most Americans be against communism in the 1920s?
2. What caused the Red Scare?
grigory [225]

Answer to your second question

Origins. The First Red Scare's immediate cause was the increase in subversive actions of foreign and leftist elements in the United States, especially militant followers of Luigi Galleani, and in the attempts of the U.S. government to quell protest and gain favorable public views of America's entering World War I.
