Most people would automatically assume that slavery was the main cause of the civil way. It was actually the political and different cultural differences, between the North and the South that had a major contribution to the cause of the civil war.

One major cause of the Civil War is slavery. The Northern political party blocked the expansion of slavery which caused conflict between the North and the South
