Answer:

I'd honestly say being in the trenches. especially because you could be gassed at any moment unexpectedly and there was a lot of disease. running across no man's land was very dangerous and people who survived had extreme PTSD. so much so that some would end up in mental hospitals. the trenches was the hardest part of WW1 and impacted many soldiers physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Answer:

Even though soldiers were supposed to be resting, they could find themselves engaged in exhausting work.

Explanation:

There was always a shortage of Labour at the front, with fighting men having to provide working parties to make good the lack. Officers were exempt from tiring manual labour, but faced different claims upon their time out of the line -chiefly never- ending paper work. In addition to dealing with general military bureaucracy, they were expected to master an ever- growing body of tacticle and technical instructions and to attend residential training courses.

fenix001 [56]

Answer: This is an example of HINDSIGHT BIAS.

Explanation: Hindsight bias is defined as the tendency for an individual to calculate too highly the ability to have seen the outcome of an event. It is also known as the knew-it-all-along phenomenon or creeping determinism individuals here feel they already know what will happen after it has happened.

The phrase "life is lived forwards, but understood backwards." is a typical example because for an individual to understand life backwards, it must have already happened. Which is what hindsight bias explains an already occur event. More like predicting the past.
