The twenty second amendment limited the president for only two terms.

I think FDR was in office for 3 terms. He died in office or he would have served for 4 terms. The 22nd amendment was passed in 1947 which limited a president's tenure to 2 terms. Many people were afraid that Obama was going to challenge that amendment and stay on for another term. I don't think he even contemplated the idea, but some of the democrats might have. In this era of false news who knows what is true and what isn't.

The point of the 22nd amendment is that it would be difficult (or unconstitutional) for a president to become a dictator. That was the basis of the fear people had.

How did the development of permanent settlements change the types of buildings that were needed
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

Settlements encouraged families to live separately to dominate the resources in a crowded village. Settlements required buildings that could hold larger amounts of people for meetings and other gatherings. Settlements were designed with materials that could be taken apart quickly to follow herds in other locations. Settlements were built with wide open spaces to provide ample room for religious and government buildings.

How does South America‘s location over the equator affect its overall climate
viva [34]

Answer:

South America extends as far south of the equator as the Alaska panhandle does north. Yes, they have glaciers down there and even a respectable ice cap. Along the Equator itself you have the Amazon rain forest and Volcan Cayambe, the only place on earth where there is permanent snow on the Equator. Let me suggest you take some geography courses so you can know what the world is really like instead of saying stereotypical things like South America is like [something] because “it’s on the equator.”
