<u><em>Endgame</em></u><u> is a play written by Samuel Beckett</u>. It is only made up of one act and it presents four characters: Hamm, Clov, Nagg and Nell. The play premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 1957. In <em>Endgame</em>, Hamm is an old man who is blind and Clov is his servant.<u> Furthermore, Nagg and Nell are Hamm's parents and neither of them has legs. Moreover, both Nagg and Nell live in trash cans.  </u>
