The country that controlled Korea when World War II began is JAPAN.

Further explanation

Japan formally annexed the Korean Empire after The Japan- Korea Treaty or Japan-Korea Annexation was signed in 1910. Japanese ruled the Korean Peninsula ended on 15 August 1945 when Japan surrendered in World War II. Soon after World War II ended, the Korean peninsula divided into two countries, North Korea which is communist under the Soviet Union and South Korea, democratic, under the United States.

During the annexation, Korean suffered a lot. Korean culture and language suffered heavy losses. The Japanese aimed for the eradication of the Korean race. There is still a lot of dispute between Japan and Korea in many aspects until today.

Despite these disputes, the relationship between South Korea and Japan re-establish in 1965. Japan-South Korea maintains the relation in many aspects: education, trade, and tourism. Until now, South Korea continues to request Japan's apologize and compensation for Korea colonization under Japan. Whereas, there is no diplomatic or economic relation between North Korea and Japan.

can someone help me? I'm not getting this question.. In 2001, President George W. Bush signed the Economic Growth and Tax Relief
KIM [24]

According to the theory of supply and demand, the market is self-adjusting and companies compete by prices, so the government should interfere as little as possible in the economy.

The government of Ronald Regan followed this logic and was considered a neoliberal government, which advocates reducing the taxation of companies as a form of incentive to production and consequently to the supply of economy, since the productive activity of the companies corresponds to the aggregate supply of an economy (everything that goes on sale in the market).

In addition to the reduction in corporate taxation, the economic package called "Reaganomics" implemented a reduction in public spending, a reduction in income taxation and a deregulation of the economy. The consequences were economic growth, but with increasing social inequality between rich and poor.

Which of the following statements best describes economic conditions in Europe immediately after World War II?
klio [65]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

In most of the European countries after the war, the economic and living conditions in cities was unbearable. The non-stop bombings of some cities led to thousands being left homeless and jobless, and many of the countries would fall into debt either from joining the war itself, partaking in it, or having to pay reparations for certain war crimes. under the Geneva Convention (Germany, Japan, etc.) It also didn't help that the Great Depression hit before the war, because while it was a very terrible event in the United States, the rest of the world suffered as well.
