The mount Jesus went on is called the mount of transfiguration. He took with him three disciples whose names were Peter, James son of Zebedee, and John the apostle. Matthew 17:12. States that Jesus Christ was transfigured before them his face shining as the sun and his garments became white as light. Jesus was with the prophet Elijah who was representing the prophets and Moses who was representing the Law. And Jesus was transformed before his disciples and he was like a bright light.
