The answer is A.  When the speaker declares <em>"I know that I shall meet my</em> <em>fate"</em>, he is expressing a certainty, a knowledge, a feeling that he will <em>encounter a negative thing, an unpleasant event</em>, and, like the title of the lines indicates, he is foreseeing his death. B) indicates the place where this airman wiil meet his fate. C and D express his feelings towards some people.
