To control his empire, the first ruler of the Qin dynasty used the method of centralization. Before the arrival of the Qin, China was ruled by the Zhou Dynasty. During this period, the country was divided, many states with different cultures and laws existed in this territory. There was no strong central power. In 220 B.C, after fighting and defeating rival states, the Qin Dynasty took control of the whole of China and chose Qin Shihuangdi as their chief. He became the first Chinese emperor. Before him, the Zhou were ruled by kings.

Further explanation

Qin Shihuangdi wanted his country to be unified and work in the same way in all parts of his new empire. He imposed the culture of his people on all other Chinese groups. He created a common currency, laws, system of measurement, language, and writing. He also divided the country into several regions. They were all governed by clear institutions and state representatives. By these methods, it was easier for him to have power over his entire territory and to impose his decisions. This policy made Emperor Qin Shihuangdi more popular than his predecessors. He was seen as a real God by the Chinese.

Ok, you didn't add the answer choices so I'm just gonna put the effects instead.

The British victory in the French and Indian War had a great impact on the British Empire. Firstly, it meant a great expansion of British territorial claims in the New World. But the cost of the war had greatly enlarged Britain's debt. ... The war had an equally profound but very different effect on the American colonists.

The pie charts illustrate information about pre-revolutionary French society. Which of the following can you infer from studying
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

Land ownership was extremely unequal between the three estates of pre-revolutionary French society

Explanation:

The three estates in pre-revolutionary France were unequal in many aspects, and of those was the land ownership. The first estate was accounting for only 1% of the population, but it owned 10 times more land than what its numbers suggested. The second estate was accounting for 2% of the population, but it owned 12.5 times more land that what its number suggests. The third estate, which was accounting for 97% of the population, possessed only 65% of the land, which is much lower than what its population suggests. This made the French society very unequal economically, which understandably resulted in revolt by the third estate.
