Alyeski Tours operates day tours of coastal glaciers in Alaska on its tour boat the Blue Glacier. Management has identified two

cost drivers—the number of cruises and the number of passengers—that it uses in its budgeting and performance reports. The company publishes a schedule of day cruises that it may supplement with special sailings if there is sufficient demand. Up to 80 passengers can be accommodated on the tour boat. Data concerning the company’s cost formulas appear below: Fixed Cost per Month Cost per Cruise Cost per Passenger Vessel operating costs $ 5,200 $ 480.00 $ 2.00 Advertising $ 1,700 Administrative costs $ 4,300 $ 24.00 $ 1.00 Insurance $ 2,900 For example, vessel operating costs should be $5,200 per month plus $480 per cruise plus $2 per passenger. The company’s sales should average $25 per passenger. In July, the company provided 24 cruises for a total of 1,400 passengers. Prepare the company’s flexible budget for July.

Robert is a technology officer in an Umerian firm and he manages the firm's operations at its facility in Elador. Robert is cons
Zolol [24]

Answer:

B) The high school graduation rate in Elador is higher than in neighboring countries.

Explanation:

The new technology that Robert wants to install at Elador is supposed to improve productivity and reduce labor but if the technology is installed, it may cause unemployment in Elador because of the high rate of high school graduates in Elador.

The high school graduates would have lesser chance of finding employment if the technology that improves productivity and reduces labor is installed. Because machine would replace tasks that humans could have done, there would be no need to employ human labor thereby increasing unemployment rates.

Suppose the price of corn rises from $30 in January to $32 in February to $32.7 in March. What is the March inflation rate
Rzqust [24]
The inflation rate formula is ( CPI2 - CPI1 )
                                            --------------------  x100
                                                    CPI1
CPI2 = Price of the latter date
CPI1 = Price of the earlier date

So the latter price is $32.7 and the earlier is $32 (I'm assuming you mean the inflation from January to February)

Then plug in the numbers ( 32.7 - 32 )
                                          ---------------- x100
                                                 32
32.7 - 32 = .7/32 = .021875 x 100 = 2.1875

Which means the answer would be if you round 2.2%

Answer:

overcoming reservations

Explanation:

From the question we are informed about Pat who was talking with his customer about the new accounting system, his customer mentioned that she thought the new system was not going to fit into their budget. Pat explained that once her people were trained on it, it would require less time to process orders, and therefore save her money in payroll. The part of the sales presentation demonstrated in this case is an example of overcoming reservations.

Sales presentation can be regarded as sales pitch and it's a selling technique which can be explained as line of talk which is an attempts of persuading someone or something, using a planned sales presentation strategy of particular product/service which is been designed to initiate as well as close a sale of that particular product or service, example of this is overcoming reservations which is a method of persuading customers.
