Several small waves near the beach. Imagine that you are sitting on a beach. As you walk toward the water, you see several waves
RSB [31]

Breaker waves are waves that reach a specific amplitude that causes certain energy transformations. They are formed due to the rise of the ocean floor.

What are breaker waves and their formation?

A breaker is a type of wave that is formed due to the rise of the ocean floor or the bed in the oceanic zones. They reach the shores towards the shallow water because of the water breaking or collapsing.

The breaker waves have increased heights when the water depth and wavelength decreases. It is called a breaker because it breaks something.

Therefore, option A. the rise of the ocean floor cause the formation of the breaker wave.

How is a high blood pressure built up in a glomerulus?
sineoko [7]
The glomerulus is supplied blood by the afferent arteriole, then the efferent arteriole takes away blood from the glomerulus. The afferent arteriole has a larger diameter than the efferent arteriole. The efferent arteriole, due to its smaller diameter creates some resistance to blood flow causing a blood back-up which creates a high pressure in the glomerular cavity. Therefore fluid and solute are forced out from the blood and into the glomerular capsule. Most of this filtrate is returned to the blood via peritubular capillary bed surrounding the nephron.
