Algebra

The product will be reduced 2 times i.e the product will be reduced to half

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the product be P_{1} and the two of its factors are a and b

So P_{1} = a_{1\\}×b_{1\\}

Now if the factor a_{1\\} is increased 3 times, then the new factor will be a_{2}

so a_{2} = 3a_{1\\}

The other factor b_{1\\}\\ is decreased 6 times, then the new factor will be b_{2}

so b_{2 } = \frac{b_{1\\}\\}{6}

So the new product P_{2} = a_{2} b_{2}

⇒ P_{2}\\ = 3×a_{1}× \\ \frac{b_{1\\}\\}{6}

So  P_{2} = \frac{P_{1}\\}{2}

Hence, the product will be reduced 2 times i.e the product will be reduced to half

A pile of sand in the shape of a cone has a diameter of 8 in. and a height of 5 in.
max2010maxim [7]

if it has a diameter of 8, that means its radius is half that, or 4.

\bf \textit{volume of a cone}\\\\
V=\cfrac{\pi r^2 h}{3}~~
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\
h=height\\[-0.5em]
\hrulefill\\
r=4\\
h=5
\end{cases}\implies V=\cfrac{\pi (4)^2(5)}{3}\implies V=\cfrac{80\pi }{3}

A circle with radius 6 has a sector with a central angle of 48 what is the area of the sector
inn [45]

Answer:

≈ 15.08 units²

Step-by-step explanation:

The area (A) of the sector is calculated as

A = area of circle × fraction of circle

   = πr² × \frac{48}{360} ( r is the radius )

   = π × 6² × \frac{48}{360}

   = 36π ×\frac{48}{360} = π × \frac{48}{10} = \frac{48\pi }{10} ≈ 15.08

Find the Value of x ( All help would be appreciated )
TiliK225 [7]

Answer:

Hello! answer: x = 31

Step-by-step explanation:

This whole thing Will equal 360 we can subtract that by 112 and another 112 because there are two because they are vertical angles so 112 + 112 = 224 360 - 224 = 136 now we divide by 2 since those last two angles will have the same measure 136 ÷ 2 = 68 so now we just have to find out what multiplied by 2 plus 6 = 68 so 2 × 31 = 62 and 62 + 6 = 68 so x = 31 hope that helps! and I showed a visual for you so hopefully this makes more sense!
