icks cost $0.58 each. She can spend up to $200 on her project, and wants the number of red bricks to be less than half the number of gray bricks.
Select all inequalities that model this situation.

Let

x--------> the number of gray bricks

y--------> the number of red bricks

we know that

y < \frac{x}{2} ------> inequality 1

0.45x+0.58y \leq 200 <em>-----> </em>inequality 2

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

x > 0

0.45x+0.58y≤200

Simplify the expression
erastova [34]

Answer : A

We need to simplify the given expression

Lets factor numerator first

2x^2-5x-3 =(2x+1)(x-3)

x^2+8x+15 =(x+5)(x+3)

Now we factor the denominator

x^2+x-20 =(x+5)(x-4)

2x^2+9x+4 =(2x+1)(x-4)

Now we simplify it

\frac{(2x+1)(x-3)}{(x+5)(x-4)} * \frac{(x+5)(x+3)}{(2x+1)(x-4)}

Now cancel out same factors. so we left with

\frac{(x+3)(x-3)}{(x+4)(x-4)} }

Now multiply the factors

\frac{x^2-9}{x^2-16} }

Explanation for Q.A.:

  1. The sign is to the right (<)
  2. If x = < 7 then it is evidently going to be B. (LOL)
  3. You are, Awesome! and I am to so yea... It is going to be right! trust me.

I hope that this is helpful to you! I also pray that you get a 100% Good luck.`♥

sineoko [7]
If this scenario is a pair of parallel lines intersected by a transversal then it is true that
2 = 6
Then, among the choices, the statement that is true is
2 is supplementary to 8 since 6 is supplementary to 8
By transitivity property, 2 is supplementary 8

Luke earned $36,000 during the first year of his job at Putt-Putt Kingdom. After each year he received a 10% raise. Find his tot
Lady_Fox [76]
In order to solve this problem, you need to use a geometric series:
S_{n} =  \frac{ a_{1}(1 - r^{n}) }{1 - r}
where:
a₁ = first term of the series = 36000
r = common rate = 10% raise, therefore 1.10
n = number of terms = 5

Therefore,
 <span>S_{n} =  \frac{ 36000(1 - 1.10^{5}) }{1 - 1.10}
= 219783.60 $

Luke's total earnings in five years are <span>219783.60 $.</span>
