This is an example of self defense policy.

Explanation:

Self defense policy is the policy that is taken to take care of the self. In case there is a threat, then to remove the threat, the policy of self defense can be used.

In this example also, since Saudi Arabia has a threat that it's rival will attack it and can cause huge damage to the country, it as a result of this takes up a measure for it's self defense. As a result of this it attacked Iran and tried to remove the threat.

How does "I Sit and Look Out" contrast with "I Hear America Singing"? A. It shows a love story, whereas the other poem only disc
makkiz [27]
Using the system of elimination, I'd say the correct answer is C. It shows the worst of America, whereas the other poem shows the best of America.
It's not A because there is no love being portrayed in "I Sit and Look Out;" it's not B because there is no defined rhyme scheme in that poem; it's not D because both poems show the working class.
So based on this, it has to be C - the first poem shows hatred, pain, and violence, whereas the other one shows unity and love.

What are 3 arguments used to support us expansion and manifest destiny?
alex41 [277]

Some of the arguments used to support US expansion and manifest destiny were: European examples, new markets and access to vast natural resources. Because of the US massive industrial expansion and production, US industries needed new markets to sell their goods to and they need access to more natural resources to ensure the continued production. The US expanded its inluences into Alaska, the Pacific (Hawaii, Samoa, Guam, and the Philippines), Latin America and Asia (China and Japan)

Which countries had no imperialistic (empire-building) motives for entering World War II?
Nina [5.8K]
I believe that the United States had no imperialistic motives for entering WWII. Because Great Britain, Russia, and Germany all used to be empires at some point in their history, and they might have wanted to become empires again, whereas America had no such wishes.
