Plants make their own sunscreen. The phenolic compounds in plants ( its a natural chemical) acts as a sunscreen. It absorbs UV rays. Plants also protect themselves using a protein known as UVR8 (short for UV resistance locus 8). Plants that lack UVR8 cannot induce protective sunscreens and are severely damaged by the UV present in summer sunlight.

Its called homeostasis, the regulation in temperature which can be exhibited thorugh sweating, panting, etc. It helps taking the heat out and all body waste away to regulate the temperature inside an organisms body.

The monocots and the dicots exhibit different venation pattern. The monocots generally exhibit the parallel venation pattern. While, the dicots represent reticulated venation.  

This difference is present due to the presence of number of cotyledons in the seed.
