Answer:

Option (3)- Location B

Explanation:

In order to establish a settlement area and to meet the requirements such as farming and fishing, the areas near and around the river are the most favorable areas. It is because the rivers are the good source of obtaining fishes, and the soil near the rivers are rich in essential nutrients thereby increasing the fertility of the soil.

Thus, from the given options, the most favorable location is location B, which is suitable for the establishment of a settlement area and meeting the needs of fishing and farming. It is because location B is very close to the river and also can be considered as a floodplain area.

Hence, the correct answer is option (3)- location B.

Urban planners would most likely consult what when planning for the future of the city
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer: D. demographers

Explanation:

When planning for the future of a city, the urban planners need to ensure that the city is able to afford its current and future residents with the facilities needed to provide them with the maximum welfare possible.

To do this the urban planners should reach out to demographers. Demographers study human populations with a view to analyse and ascertain various characteristics such as size, composition, how they are distributed within a geopolitical zone and most importantly, how they will change overtime.

For urban planners to plan for a city that will take care of future residents as well, they would need to know how the kind of future residents they are planning for and this is when they will turn to demographers whose job it is to study and possibly predict future population.

An astronaut in full spaced gear climbs a vertical ladder on the Earth. Later, the astronaut makes the same climb on the moon. I
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

The gravitational potential will change more on  earth.

Explanation:

The gravity on the moon is only 17% of that of earth's because the earth has way more mass. Since the gravitational potential depends on the mass of the human and the height of the ladder, and both things will remain equal, no matter where they are, so we could assume that the gravitational potential energy will change more on earth.

Ground that is very fertile and has enough access to sun could prove very good to plant crops and make farms.
Rivers and lakes could come off of a mountain so being on lower ground could be good to provide water for yourselves and your crops or animals that are used for food.
Idaho had good soil for potatoes and farming. Towns with lakes and hills would be good for water and farming and life with a family in general.
You would want to avoid rocky ground and mountains unless you wanted to protect yourself, so avoiding new england and also high places like colorado.
