What does “primitive” mean as it is used in paragraph 9?

English

Primitive in this context is closer to innate or previously existing in the person.

Explanation:

Primitive in the sense of psychology for Freud was always something that had existed in the  person without any outside influence that would inform their behavior.

The primitive action is one that the person is ingrained to perform in the way of their own psyche and has nothing to do with outside influence over them.

This is developed in the concept of displacement and familiarization of the death principle and the life principle of Freud that is being discussed hire.

What devastating choice are Elie and his father left with regarding staying in the infirmary or
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

Elie and his father heard that there will be an evacuation and that prisoners would be marching to another camp while the sick would be left and killed.

The father-son duo decided to follow the prisoners and take their chance instead of staying behind in the infirmary and be separated.

Wiesel later learned that those left, the sick, in the infirmary were <em>"liberated by the Russians, two days after the evacuation."</em>

Explanation:

Elie Wiesel's memoir "Night," tells the author's account of his life of being a Jew during the discrimination against their race by the Germans under Nazi rule. This event, the Holocaust, came to be the worst genocide in the history of the world.

When Elie had to have his tooth extracted, he was put in the infirmary to recover. But within two days of his stay there, news spread that the prisoners were to be shifted to another location while the sick would be <em>"liberated",</em> meaning killed or disposed of.

Unable to decide what to do, Elie and his father decided to move along with the prisoners and not stay in the infirmary. Though sick and tired, Elie followed his father's decision as he doesn't want to be separated from him.

He later learned, after the war, that those who had stayed behind in the infirmary were <em>"liberated by the Russians, two days after the evacuation."</em>

Explain how the ICD-10-CM code and CPT code work together to provide the necessary information about the patient’s visit to the
stepan [7]

Answer:

CPT is what was done, the ICD is why it was done. Insurance companies, especially Medicare and Medicaid have procedures that they will not cover if you don’t attach an acceptable diagnosis code. Fortunately, this isn’t a secret. They publish documents that outline what the procedure(s) are and what the needed or ‘covered’ diagnoses are.

Most of the links are self evident. Broken arm diagnosis - fix broken arm CPT code. Other pairings are also as easy.

It has gotten more difficult with ICD-10 because the available number of diagnoses has expanded tremendously. For some insurance companies it was an opportunity to narrow down the covered diagnoses for some of the more expensive procedures.

Modifiers have special use in coding. They can be informative; there are modifiers for each of your fingers and each of your toes. They can affect your reimbursement for the procedure performed: there are modifiers for services that were not completed. There are modifiers that will allow you to bill some things you wouldn’t be able to normally; modifiers for the same surgery done at different sites. Modifiers go on the CPT codes, not the diagnosis codes. Some modifiers are only for physician visits, some only for surgery. There are many, and using them is an art form.
