In the fifth and last stanza of his poem, the poet explained that people would epitomize his love. They would be remembered and many would beg for a pattern of their love because it was unique. In the beginning of the poem, the speaker recounts as his love is criticized by others. He is unperturbed by the criticism and tells them to mind their business.

He believes strongly that despite the criticism, his love would be celebrated by the world after he and his lover had died.
