Answer: Option B

Explanation:

The bacteria and viruses in the class that is being released from classmates ans instructor is enough to cause disease but it is killed before it causes disease in the body.

This is so because the human body has immune system that consists of various mechanism that helps in killing the harmful pathogens.

The microbes present in the air is inhaled and the mucous membrane in the nasal passage swallow the pathogens and they are killed in the acidic environment.

The environment inside the stomach is highly acidic which does not allows the sustainability of the pathogen inside the body.

List the five characteristics a substance must have to be a mineral. Explain why coal and a glass marble are not minerals.
Angelina_Jolie [31]
A mineral has to be naturally occurring, inorganic, solid, have a crystal structure, and have a definite chemical composition. Coal is not a mineral because it is carbon-based and came from fossilized plants. That proves that it is organic and has no definite chemical composition, defying two rules you would need to follow to be a mineral. Glass is a non-crystalline solid. This means that the atoms are not arranged in a regular and repeating pattern. A mineral by definition possess a crystalline form, it has its elements arranged in a regular and repeating pattern.
