Your friend has isolated a protein present in the cheek cells of all straight A seniors at your school. She says that this prote

in helps you remember everything you read and therefore will help you cut down on the number of hours needed to study for exams. She sequences the protein, which she calls geniuszyme and Designs a probe to isolate the gene that encodes it. To make sure she designs the probe correctly, she consults with the company that clone Factor 8. They have 100% confidence that her probe will work she also obtained a high-quality liver cdna library from the company and uses her probe to try to isolate the gene for geniuszyme. Unfortunately she has she is unable to isolate any clones.
A. what is the likely explanation for her failure
B. not to be discouraged comma your friend has obtained some genomic DNA isolated from the nuclei of liver cells and has made a genomic library from that DNA. Do you expect you will succeed and isolating the geniuszyme from this Library? Why or why

explain why it is important to keep the levels of nucleotides relatively balanced in the context of dna and rna synthesis
juin [17]

Answer:

Read Below

Explanation:

Nucleotides are A & T and G&C you see in DNA and in RNA T is Replaced by U. The reason they must be balanced between G&C and T&A is because G has to bond with A in DNA and G with C so if there is more G than C that means there is mismatches between the DNA nucleotides same thing for A and T. In RNA you follow the same rule. If we have lets say 27% of our DNA as A we have to have 27% as T leaving 23% as C and 23% as G. If there was lets say 29% T while one 27% A then there was a error in DNA replication and could lead to errors in RNA synthesis if not corrected

Most land-dwelling invertebrates and all of the amphibians _____. _____ Select one: a. are ectothermic organisms with variable b
valkas [14]

Answer:

A.)are ectothermic organisms with variable body temperatures.

Explanation:

Invertebrates animal are animals that lack a backbone, Land invertebrates include insects, spiders, centipedes ,coelenterate, an arthropod, mollusc and the rest.

Ectotherms are also called called cold-blooded animal because their bl body temperature regulation is dependendent on external sources, such as sunlight or a heated rock surface. Some of the examples of ectotherms are fishes, amphibians, invertebratesand reptiles. The aquatic ectotherms body temperature is usually compare closely to the temperature of the surrounding water

Ectothermic species that lives in temperate regions usually experience rapid and potentially stressful changes in body temperature simply because of weather changes even among amphibians there is variation in their temperature

It is believed that naturally occurring periods of temperature variation negatively impact amphibian health.
