It effected their culture and government as a whole. The American influence after WW2 caused the government to be democratic. The culture was now more relaxed and a little nicer to women. Japan started to make a lot of technology now that they weren't living like they were post ww2.
In the 50's-90's, Japan's economy was skyrocketing. They were selling computers, cameras, gaming systems and just about anything with tech as fast as they could and better than anyone else.
The Antitrust Law protects competition in our society. In a fully competitive market, each competing business generally tries to attract customers by cutting prices and increasing the quality of it's products.
