The answers should be Protons. The number of Protons in the nucleus is the atomic number of an element.

The number of protons in an element is like an ID card number. Each element has their own number of protons and it is never changed no matter how the number of neutrons or electrons are changed.

For example, fluorine has 9 protons, (protons only locates in the nucleus of an atom by the way), so, the atomic number of fluorine is 9.

Which of the following is not a possible cause of erosion? a. burrowing animals b. gravity c. water d. none of the above
olasank [31]
The correct option as to which is not a possible cause of erosion is none of the above. As a matter of fact, all of these options can cause erosion one way or another. Burrowing animals dig into the ground, and thus can cause chunks of earth to fall apart and cause erosion. Gravity and water can do the same thing, so none of these options are incapable of causing erosion, that is, all of them can do it.
