Compare and contrast how people have historically treated natural resources and how this might change, using your new understanding of scarcity, conservation, and private property.

Answer: In the past people treated natural resources as an infinite source of wealth and commodity. But now that we know that there are physical limits to nonrenewable resources we have taken a new approach to preserve this resources by taking measures like natural resource management. A great example of this would be a private property regime where the resources benefits and duties fall under the owner(s).

I hope it helps, Regards.

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Natural resources are non-renewable. People need to start acting responsibly to take care of the environment and not wasting valuable resources that will be much needed in the future.

In the case of water, there are countries and cities where people have to walk miles from their homes in order to get some fresh water for their families. We in the larger cities, just go to the faucet and drink and wast. That is not fair when poor people do not have this elemental resource.

We need to follow and respect conservation programs to protect the land and animals that give us the food we need. We order the food that we need and no more. No wasting. There are millions of people suffering too much hunger in the world.

And if we don't care about our limited resources, soon we will be facing scarcity of basic products. So let's be responsible and use only what we need.

The answer is 4 The reason behind this is because when the Roman Empire segregated into two halves, the Eastern Empire carried on traditional Roman attitudes, values, beliefs and of course the Christian Religion. Later on, as time progressed the influence of neighbouring Greece and the mixture of both cultures through social interaction and Eastern Roman conquests was evident. Basically the integration of Greek provinces into the Eastern Roman Empire consequently caused both cultures to be preserved.

What could have been done to end racial discrimination against nonwhites in the united states at the turn of the century?
Verizon [17]

Well, to start, the Supreme Court could have ruled differently in Plessy v. Ferguson.

In Plessy, the Supreme Court condoned the practice of "separate but equal" making it permissible for the white south (and north) to create discriminatory practices.
