So since i’d be a colonist i would probably be rooting for my side, but i’d think about it more deeply and realize it’s not our land to take, i would feel torn, from either protecting land that isn’t meant for us, or from standing with people i have worked beside, i would feel very upset over taking over someone’s life and forcing them to clear where they were for me to take over, i’d also be upset because we are fighting the rightful owners of the land and trying to rip their lives from them.

I would feel like great Britain is trying to tax us when we don't even live there and they are doing it just because they lost the war and were in poverty and embarrassed! (taxation without representation)
